Naval Ship Easter Bunny helpers deliver meals in Port Jervis, NY

PORT JERVIS, NY -- A tradition that began more than 25-years ago continued on Easter morning at Tri-States Naval Ship Post #7241 in Port Jervis, NY. 

A crew of chefs and delivery men gathered beginning, with some, at 6 a.m. today. They purchased, cooked, and doled out complete Easter dinners and dessert for 110 local residents.  About 25 of these dinners were picked by residents that pre-ordered them, and the remainder delivered to seniors and others to their homes.

Thank you to these dedicated veterans and helpers who not only prepare and deliver Easter dinners, but repeat this effort with different menus for other holidays where anyone might not have such a full or traditional holiday meal.
